Short Summary

"The Shepherd’s Treasure" tells the story of a poor but wise and honest shepherd who lives in a small village. Impressed by his wisdom, the king appoints him as a governor. However, jealous courtiers spread rumours that the shepherd is stealing royal treasures and hiding them in a mysterious iron chest he always carries. When the king investigates, he discovers that the chest contains only the shepherd's simple blanket, a reminder of his humble past. The king realizes the shepherd's honesty and wisdom and rewards him further.
