Let’s Talk

Why do you think the fowler succeeded in catching the quails? Share your views with the class.

It is well said ‘United we stand, divided we fall’. At first, the quails did not know how to save their lives from the fowler. Then the leader quail suggested a trick to get rid of fowlers net. The other quails cooperated by accepting his suggestion. Unitedly they saved their life from the fowler. The fowler was unable to catch them in this unity. But this unity did not last for a long time. They began to quarrel about small things. This resulted in disunity among them. The leader quail also left them and went elsewhere with his followers. Due to this disunity, the fowler succeeded in catching the quails.

Let’s Write

The moral of the story is ‘United we stand, divided we fall’ or ‘Union is strength’. What are the disadvantages of non-cooperation?

Unity brings peace, prosperity, and development to society. On the other hand, disunity ruins and brings only destruction and misery to society. Non-cooperation has innumerable disadvantages. It leads to disunity and opens the doors for enemies. Non-cooperation is the cutter of love. It increases the burden of work. Quarreling among the members is normal. There is no constructive development in non-cooperation.
