rear forefoot. The elephant held his forefoot and Deesa hit ten times with a

Writing Work
Q1. Write an account of love
between Deesa and Moti Guj.
Ans. Deesa and Moti Guj is a story written by
Rudyard Joseph Kipling. This is a story of love between a human being and a
beast. Deesa was a drunkard foolish man having no family. His elephant helped
him a lot in his livelihood. Deesa would beat Moti Guj whenever he was drunk.
Moti Guj never took ill of that beating because he knew that after the beating
was over, Deesa would embrace his trunk and weep. He would call him his love
and give him some liquor and give him some liquor that Moti Guj was very fond
of.
There was deep love between the two. Once Deesa went on
the leave for ten days. For ten days, Moti Guj worked as per his new master.
But after that, he began to search for his master, Deesa. He behaved like a
mutineer. When he saw his master, he felt in his arms and both wept and
slobbered on each other. Deesa used to lead him down to the river once a week.
Moti Guj lay on his side in the shallows, while Deesa rubbed him with a coir
swab and brick. On pounding, the blow of the brick, Moti Guj would get up and turn the other side. Then the Deesa would look at his feet and examine his eyes and turn
up the corners of his mighty ears in case of sores. They used to sing songs
together whenever they were happy. Moti used to swing his master and put him on
the neck. With pride, Deesa would call him the king of elephants, Jewel of all
Created Elephants, and Lily of the Herd.
Q2. Write a short essay on
the preservation of Wildlife.
Ans. Creator has blessed all living beings with a
natural place, which is called earth on which we live. But to live happily He made
this earth some special features so that to make the balance between these
living organisms. The ecosystem is one of these natural features. All organisms
are well adapted to their environment. Creator has divided these organisms into
different categories or species. All categories directly or indirectly depend
on each other and all are important on the earth. These species have their own
habitats in which they live. One of these species or categories is Wild animals.
They have their own habit.
The animals that live in wild forests are called wild
animals. The life of these animals is known as wildlife. This wildlife is very
important to all living organisms living on this earth because they help in
balancing the ecosystem. It is important to preserve the wildlife because they
help in balancing the food chain on the earth. Now the question arises how to
preserve the wildlife. It is simple, just save forests, save animals. If we go
on cutting or clearing forests for our own needs, it will not only affect the
life of wild animals but there will be a great impact on our lives too. Deforestation
leads to floods, draughts, and ultimately the death of many living beings due to the
scarcity of food. If we cut a tree, we should plant more trees in its place. Wildlife
helps in maintaining the balance of gas levels in the air. In short, we can say
that they are as important for us as the sources.
Discussion
Q1. What is rebellion? List
the factors that incite one to rebellion.
Ans. Rebellion is an individual or group of
people that are involved in an act of violent or open resistance to an
established government or ruler. There are a number of factors that incite an individual
to be a rebellion. When an individual becomes a rebellion, he educates the
other individuals to participate in his movement. Violence against the power or
ruler can arise due to many facts. Ban on freedom of religion, ban on freedom
of speech, injustice, or any other cause that can harm the normal life of an
innocent person. It is just a revolt or resistance to certain laws that do not
fit for the category of people. Some people may adjust or tolerate this change.
Not only on the country level, but there may also be a rebel in the family too. When the
head of the family denies the demands of a member in the family, that particular
member may rebel against the orders of the family head. We are all well aware
of these kinds of facts and problems.
